The 10-week Oxford Gap Year equips students aged 17-19 with a deeper understanding of their chosen subject and the competence to pursue it at a higher level.
At the beautiful Yarnton Manor, small classes strengthen students' academic knowledge while individual project work develops their research skills. Regular guest-speaker debates stimulate their intellectual curiosity and critical thinking. An invaluable opportunity to gain academic credit and life-skills!

Altitude is a young and dynamic ski and snowboard school offering 10 week gap courses for those wishing to train as a ski or snowboard instructor. Our highly acclaimed 10 week courses include training from top qualified coaches towards your BASI level 1 and 2 qualification. On successful completion of the course, you will have gained a qualification which allows you to teach in many countries around the world including Switzerland, Austria, America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and more. The course focuses primarily on your personal performance and your teaching skills. It is also possible to learn a second discipline, a new language and of course the names of the bar staff! This course include over 200 hours of on snow coaching, discounts on equipment, season lift passes, clothing and jackets, transfers, high pass rates and work opportunities after the course.
